Mine came at Chicago O'Hare, going through TSA on a business trip. I slipped off my boots and exposed the ugly white "man socks" I'd layered over my tights for extra warmth and comfort. The smirk from the guy behind me was the final straw.
Disgraced but determined, I spent the entire flight wondering why a woman can't have stylish tights AND comfortable feet.
By the time the plane landed, the idea for Bootights was taking off.
