It All Started With a Pair of Men’s Socks.
The idea for Bootights came to me in the security line at Chicago’s O’Hare airport.
When I took off my boots, I revealed the white men’s socks I’d pulled over my tights to keep my feet warm and comfortable. It worked, but let’s just say it wasn’t exactly chic.
Standing there, I remember thinking women shouldn’t have to choose between looking polished and feeling comfortable.
By the time I got off the plane, Bootights was already taking shape.
